1. What data we collect
- Parent / guardian data: name, email address, phone number, country and time zone, payment confirmation details (we never receive or store full card numbers — payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor).
- Child data, provided by the parent: first name, age, languages spoken at home, learning goals, and the specialist's lesson notes on educational progress.
- Technical data: basic website analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location by country) collected via cookies or similar technologies.
2. Why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the service — scheduling lessons, matching specialists, tracking progress, customer support (performance of a contract).
- To process payments and keep accounts — legal and accounting obligations.
- To improve the platform — aggregated, de-identified analytics (legitimate interest).
- To send service messages — booking confirmations, schedule changes, progress notes. Marketing emails are sent only with your consent and every one has an unsubscribe link.
3. Children's data
- All accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian; children never register themselves.
- We collect only the minimum child data needed to run effective lessons, always provided by the parent.
- Child data is never used for marketing and never sold or shared with advertisers.
- Lessons may be conducted over third-party video platforms; recordings are made only with the parent's explicit prior consent, for quality or make-up purposes, and are deleted on request.
4. Who we share data with
- Education specialists — the specialist teaching your child sees the child's first name, age, goals and lesson history.
- Service providers — payment processing, video conferencing, email delivery, website hosting and analytics providers, each bound by data-processing agreements and receiving only what they need to perform their function.
- Authorities — only where required by applicable law.
- We do not sell personal data. Ever.
5. International transfers
We are based in the UAE and serve families worldwide; our specialists and service providers may be located in other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, we use providers with recognised safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable) and limit transfers to what the service requires.
6. Storage and security
- Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections and stored with access controls limited to staff who need it.
- We keep personal data while your account is active and for up to 5 years afterwards for legal, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes, then delete or anonymise it.
- If we ever become aware of a data breach affecting you, we will notify you without undue delay.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the site work and optional analytics cookies to understand how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site remains usable with essential cookies only.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/UK GDPR and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email support@azuverse.com — we respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; the current version is always on this page with its date. Material changes affecting children's data will be notified to parents by email.
